We asked a question.

"What can we do to change the life of a Black boy born in 2007 so that by the time he’s 18, in the year 2025, his chances for success have significantly improved?"

We took action.

As early as 2004, the Twenty First Century Foundation (21CF) begin hosting “listening circles” and forums with key community organizations around the nation to learn about what we all can do to identify, highlight, and support effective strategies that focus on supporting Black men and boys. In 2007, the 2025 Campaign for Black Men and Boys was born. The 2025 Campaign is the centerpiece of Twenty First Century Foundation’s (21CF’s) Black Men and Boys Initiative (BMB).  By addressing the multiple challenges confronting Black males – criminal justice system, inadequate healthcare, and lack of support for engaged fatherhood 21CF remains committed to this cause.
